5 Steps to Revive Your Skin After Winter

5 Steps to Revive Your Skin After Winter

Whether you're battling freezing rain or harsh winds, the fact remains that winter can be hellishly cruel. Temperature and humidity fluctuations outdoors combined with artificial heating indoors can have dehydrating and devastating effects on the skin. Pores become clogged, and dead skin cell residue starts to accumulate.

Fortunately, regaining radiant and healthy skin, which you enjoy in the warmer months of the year, is just a matter of following these steps.

  1. Exfoliating Cleansing

Winter skin suffers from a build-up of dead cells, and removing these cells is an essential step in skincare. Exfoliating separates these cells or removes the intercellular glue that hangs on them, revealing newer, healthier versions underneath. This helps to unclog pores, which remain open for product absorption (serums, lotions, etc.). Exfoliation will make your next skin treatments more effective.

  2. Plenty of water

We've already written about the positive effects of water in the last article, but it never hurts to repeat it. In short, the skin is up to 70% water. It protects it and contributes to a fresh look. Drinking at least two litres of water a day will prevent dehydration, which can make the skin look dull, dry and wrinkled.

  3. Focus on eyes

Dark circles and puffiness under the eyes can make us look tired, even when we're well-rested. To brighten even the darkest circles under the eyes, we recommend trying the Cream Serum Diamond Rose Biofresh. Its massage roller lifts the eyelids, eliminates wrinkles, preserves softness and rejuvenates not only the eye area but also the mouth.

  4. Beauty comes from within

For radiant skin (and healthy hair), make sure your diet includes plenty of essential fatty acids. Our bodies don't produce these nutrients on their own, so it's important to get them from food. Excellent sources include salmon, flax seeds, rice, walnuts, beans, eggs, etc.

  5. Sticking to a routine

A consistent routine of cleansing, toning, nourishing and protecting morning and evening helps to rehabilitate dry, weathered and tired skin.

Regular care multiplies the results of the products used. :)
