Calendula officinalis is considered one of the most valuable herbs that nature could provide us with. You can recognise Calendula officinalis relatively easily. It has deep orange or yellow petals in the shape of a nail (hence the name calendula) and usually grows to a height of 30–70 cm. It blooms from summer to autumn, and its flowers should be harvested every 2 to 4 days to encourage the growth of new flowers.
