Mursala Tea = a drink for your health
Mursalski Tea is a drink made from the Sideritis scardica herb. Its beneficial effects were discovered by the father of the current most successful producer, who in the mid-20th century tried to raise awareness of the drink's medicinal effects and claimed he owed it his life without any pain.
The tea comes from a plantation in Bulgaria, and although it is artificially cultivated, it has the same properties as those in its natural habitat at an altitude of 1400 m above sea level. It is nicknamed Bulgarian Viagra and here is a list of its other benefits:
-
It has anti-inflammatory, strengthening and antianemic effects.
-
It lowers blood pressure, thus also reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke.
-
It slows down the growth of cancer cells and atherosclerosis.
-
It is an antioxidant, meaning it cleanses the body.
-
Contains potassium, copper, zinc, magnesium, iron, cobalt, sodium, etc.
-
Contains a large amount of flavonoids, which are the main active substances with antimicrobial and antioxidant effects. It also contains tannins and essential oils.
-
Doctors recommend Mursalski Tea for treating respiratory problems (which is more than welcome these days :))
-
It is particularly effective in healing urinary tracts, prostate, liver and kidneys.

Preparation:
To preserve all the medicinal effects, it is recommended to pour 250 ml of water over one whole stalk of the plant, bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes until a golden colour appears. It is recommended to sweeten with honey for flavour.
