What to imagine under a "clean label"?

SLS or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate

This ingredient is used as a surfactant to create a large, fluffy lather in cosmetic products. As we all know, foam washes away dirt and SLS is believed to have a mild antibacterial effect. On the other hand, in vitro tests show that it slows down gum healing. SLS is also an irritant that could be unpleasant for more sensitive people. Nevertheless, surveys show that a large proportion of users do not like toothpaste without thick foam. Therefore, the Nordics portfolio offers toothpastes containing SLS, but also toothpastes using a biological foaming agent (Sodium Meethyl Cocoyl Taurate, Sodium Lauryol Sarcosinate).

Propylene Glycol
