Properties of rose oil

Rose oil properties:

Appearance: liquid

Colour: Yellow to yellow-green

Scent: Warm, floral, delicate, with faint honey notes, characteristic of Bulgarian oil-bearing rose

Bulgarian rose oil is known worldwide as the finest essential oil, or "rose attar". Its main components are: phenylethyl alcohol, citronellol, geraniol and nerol. The other components are in smaller quantities, but are very important for its final quality.

It crystallises at a temperature of 16-23 oC, therefore, before use, the bottle with the oil needs to be warmed in the palm of your hand for a few seconds, not otherwise.

Rose oil storage: at a temperature of 15oC +/- 5oC without exposure to light.
