About our company

Our story

My name is Radoslav Conev and I founded Emerosa in 2017. However, the idea to found Emerosa did not just come about. I was born to a mother originally from Slovakia and a father who comes from the Bulgarian Rose Valley near Kazanlak, so I followed in my family's footsteps and dedicated my career to Bulgarian roses and the unique cosmetics that are created from them. Behind our story is a family trip to Bulgaria, where together with my father, Dimitar Conev, we thought about what I could do in addition to studying pharmacy. After much research, I thought that it would be good to combine my knowledge of pharmacy and my family background (Kazanlak - rose valley). That's how we started our business with roses, rose water and rose cosmetics.

In the beginning it was difficult, because one thing is studying and another thing is practice itself and hard reality. We gradually completed several trips and trainings in order to become more experts in the field of cosmetics and food supplements. We have improved our general and professional knowledge, defining for ourselves that true information is key for us and therefore we provide it from verified sources to help you solve the problems that bother you or your loved ones (e.g. acne, atopic eczema, reduced immunity, cold sores and others).

What do we do?

We started as an exclusive distributor of Biofresh products and gradually added other brands and companies. We have always emphasized that the cooperating company should be unique in something, whether in the production process, in the uniqueness of the product or in solving the problems of the customers themselves. We gradually built a portfolio of companies that we represent in Central Europe. We try to keep natural and BIO products in our portfolio. You can find more information here.

In 2018, we went one step further, we started distributing raw materials for manufacturing cosmetics and food. Knowledge during distribution to individual factories opened our eyes and showed us that each grower and producer approaches the cultivation of plants, the subsequent use and processing of raw materials differently. We hope to slowly educate the market in Slovakia and the Czech Republic about how important it is to choose individual raw materials or the products themselves with regard to their origin, production and distribution. In 2023, we made raw materials that meet high standards available to our customers through the Emerosa brand.

At Emerosa, thanks to our experience in the field of cosmetics and cosmetic ingredients, we have become experts in skin care. Now only the last step remains. We would like to provide Slovakia and the Czech Republic with something that our country lacks - true Czech and Slovak natural care for health and beauty.

Thanks to the products from our workshop, you can take care of your health from the inside with the help of unique Hrotlife food supplements and the beauty of your skin, hair and nails thanks to our natural Venoc cosmetics. Our mission is to improve your health and beauty care.

Based on this, two of our private brands were created:

• Venoc - naked nature - where we believe that less is sometimes more,
• Hrotlife - medicinal mushrooms - Hrotlife is inspired by alpine nature.

We help the environment

We don't care where we live and that's why we value the planet earth and our goal is to help improve the environment in which we live, with the help of our products and approach to business. We try to pack shipments in such a way that we reuse every single cardboard and other packaging material. We even collect cartons and packaging material from companies near us that do not need it and dispose of it unnecessarily.

We will be happy if you support our efforts to reuse packaging materials. If you have a company that has residual packaging materials that you need to get rid of and you are from Žilina, do not hesitate to contact us. We are happy to take cartons, boxes or fillers from you, which we use when packing products in customer orders.

We help solve problems

We don't just want to sell stuff head on. We like to inspire you on our regular blogs, where we try to explain clearly what our products are used for and how they would help you in everyday life. We want to provide everyone with verified information that is backed by professional knowledge. We discuss various topics that we perceive people are interested in or are concerned about. Greenwashing is unacceptable for us. If you need advice, we will be happy to answer your questions in our online chat, over the phone or by e-mail, so do not hesitate to contact us.

We help growers

We try to help growers in selling raw materials that they grow in ecological conditions. We further sell these raw materials to cosmetic and food manufacturers. Our portfolio includes hydrolates, oils and parts of herbs, which are also available in larger quantities. We regularly go to Bulgaria to monitor the production process and establish long-term relationships with suppliers. I hope that even in this way we manage to raise awareness on the Central European market regarding the quality of processing of raw materials and educate people to prioritize high-quality and genuine raw materials in products.

We build relationships within the team too

We care not only about the quality of our products but also about the people behind them. We are a small team with great commitment, and we know that only through good cooperation and understanding can we grow. We regularly organize teambuilding activities that strengthen our team spirit, deepen mutual trust, and create space for new ideas. Shared experiences help us work together better and create products with the same passion we show towards each other.

If I had to choose one product that everyone should have...

...it would definitely be rose floral water. It is suitable as a tonic for every skin type (both oily and dry). It has anti-inflammatory properties and can effectively fight and heal acne – as a bonus, it also has anti-aging effects. Rose water is perfect as a makeup fixer and suitable for preparing powder-based masks and scrubs. It is great for refreshing the skin during hot summer months and can also be used for hair and scalp – its anti-inflammatory properties help in the fight against dandruff and eczema.
