MycoMedica

MycoMedica is a purely Czech family business that we founded in 2010. The founder was Milan Schirl, who has been involved with vital mushrooms and traditional Chinese medicine for 20 years: "When we founded the company, we set ourselves the goal of producing high-quality and honest products that would really help people."

We use mushrooms grown in the Chinese provinces of Anhui, Fujian and Jiangxi, i.e. in areas virtually untouched by industry and civilisation. Pesticides, Heavy Metals, microorganisms, moulds, radioactivity, these are the dangers, which must be unconditionally protected from MUSHROOM raw materials.

All mushroom raw material that we use for the production of our MUSHROOM products is tested before processing in the German independent Agrolab laboratory for more than 500 kinds of known heavy metals, pesticides and microorganisms dangerous to humans. We are able to submit these tests on request. We have also expanded classical tests to include testing for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which have carcinogenic effects, MAY affect foetal development and are also associated with cardiovascular diseases.
