Natural Hair Colour Parvati - Copper laSaponaria 100g
What plants are used to care for your hair?
Henna or white henna was used in ancient Egypt and India. Henna leaf powder also made its way to Europe. Henna dyes thanks to the tannin content called tannin, which is contained in the leaves and binds to the keratin in the hair. It gives the hair red highlights, protects it from hair loss, dandruff, and frizz.
Amla or Indian gooseberry is valued for its antioxidant properties. It adds vitality and shine to the hair, helps darker shades stand out and also acts as a conditioner.
How to use the dye?
- Preparing hair for dyeing: Ideally, wash your hair with this special before dyeing. pre-dyeing shampoo. Do not use a shampoo containing silicones or other substances that create a "coating" on the hair. This could prevent the dye from penetrating the hair.
- Preparing the dye: Put on gloves and mix the herbal powder with warm water (approximately 70 degrees) in a bowl. Add enough water to create a smooth paste with a consistency similar to ketchup. It shouldn't be too runny or too stiff. If you have short hair, you probably don't need to use the entire contents of the package. Therefore, choose the amount of herbal powder according to the length and thickness of your hair so that the resulting mixture is sufficient to cover it.
- Application of the dye: Apply the mixture while still warm to washed and damp hair. Proceed strand by strand, applying the colour from the roots to the tips. Once all the hair is covered with the dye, cover it with foil and then with a dry towel or scarf to keep the hair warm and allow the dye to 'work'. Leave it on for 30 minutes to 2 hours. The longer you leave the dye on, the better it will take, it will be richer and darker.
Tip: If you are only covering extended hair, apply the dye only to the extended hair, not to the entire length of your hair. - Colour wash. After the required time, remove the towel and foil from the hair and wash the herbal mixture out of the hair with warm water. Do not use shampoo or conditioner. Finally, you can rinse your hair with cool water and a moisturising product that will help your hair fix the colour better. Do not use any other products on your hair for the next 24 hours.
- Hair full of health and shine. For the colour to reach its full potential, wait 24-48 hours before shampooing and styling your hair. Then you can enjoy beautifully shiny hair in all its glory.
A few words about the final shade...
The colour does not contain any synthetic ingredients, so it does not lighten the hair and cannot guarantee an exact colour tone. The final shade may vary depending on the original colour, as well as the condition and structure of the hair. The resulting shade may also be affected by previous hair treatments (dyeing with synthetic hair dyes or bleaching) and the method of application of the dye (temperature and duration of application).
If you have grey (the first column in the attached swatch) or light blonde hair and are going to use a dark colour, the manufacturer recommends dyeing it gradually. First, use a colour that is slightly lighter than the final dark shade. Immediately after this "pre-colouring", you can apply the final dark shade (on the colour chart, this "transition" is marked with an asterisk).
