How to Create the Right Skincare Routine for Your Skin?

How to Create the Right Skincare Routine for Your Skin?

Every day, we use many different products. Hydrolats, floral waters, toners, make-up removers, cleansing milks, day and night creams, serums or medications prescribed by our dermatologist. To begin, it’s important to understand the difference between an ideal morning skincare routine and an evening skincare routine. We'll advise you on what's suitable for what and in what order to apply the products. Applying products and proper care ensures that your skin gets all the benefits from each product. So, in what order should you use the individual products? A simple rule is to apply products from the thinnest to the thickest or from a liquid to a creamy consistency.

Everyday Skincare Routine: A Step-by-Step Guide

STEP 1: Cleansing

So, how do you cleanse your skin properly? Start your morning by washing your face with warm water or, if necessary, removing minor impurities with a gentle cleanser designed for your skin type. For best results, we recommend double cleansing. The first is oil-based, the second is water-based. Oil-based – cleansing milk that eliminates impurities such as sebum or make-up. Cleansing with a water base, such as gel soap, removes grease from the skin and unclogs pores for further preparations. We recommend reaching for organic cosmetics that do not irritate the skin and contain only natural substances. Facial Cleansing Milk With rose extracts, it gently cleanses, balances, moisturises the skin and removes all impurities, including make-up. Facial Soap Is an ideal choice if you are troubled by dull and dry skin with an uneven structure and clogged pores. The soap is rich in nutrients, fatty acids and leaves the skin healthy, fresh, nourished and hydrated.

STEP 2: Toner

Toners help to restore the skin's pH and after using more alkaline soaps and water. Although they don't physically shrink pores, they can serve many purposes. In addition, each type of toner is designed for a different skin problem, so it's important to use the right type and tone. As a toner for all skin types, we can recommend pure rose water. Rose water will give your skin a great boost of refreshment. It cleanses, soothes and nourishes your skin. Deeply hydrating facial toner will refresh you and its gentle composition will take care of the final removal of all impurities from your skin. It minimises the appearance of pores and leaves the skin beautifully radiant.

STEP 3: Treatment

STEP 3.1 SERUM

What is serum used for? Serum regulates sebum production and suppresses the multiplication of microorganisms on oily skin. After using the serum, the skin is much more matte, cleansed and fresh. However, it is a highly concentrated treatment rich in nutrients that addresses specific problems. Nourishing face serum is quickly absorbed, providing long-lasting moisture and antioxidant protection. The precious bouquet of Bulgarian rose oil and other active substances to revitalise the skin helps to restore vitality, tone and radiance to lifeless skin.

STEP 3.2: Eye cream

Although it may not seem like it, eye cream is a very important step. Apply it at least once a day. Early improvement in skin quality in this area ensures that the skin of the eyelids does not lose its elasticity and smooth appearance later. Using an anti-ageing cream is also a good step. You can also protect the delicate skin around your eyes by choosing an eye cream with SPF. Eye Renewing Serum helps to energise and brighten tired-looking eyes. It creates a protective film around the delicate eye area and has a special formula designed to smooth, tone and brighten. For a visible reduction in the signs of skin ageing and reduction of dark circles under the eyes, we recommend reaching for anti-ageing eye cream. The organic nourishing cream helps protect the delicate skin from dehydration, promotes a youthful appearance and visibly reduces the signs of ageing.

STEP 3.3: Spot treatment

Prescription medicines and acne treatments should be applied to the cleanest skin possible to maximise their benefits. Before application, check the product packaging or consult your dermatologist about which products to choose and how best to apply them.

STEP 4: Hydration

Yes, we all need a moisturiser, even if we have oily skin. Your body has its own natural lubrication system consisting of glands that secrete oil to maintain a protective coating against adverse external conditions and infections. Nevertheless, most of us need extra hydration after damage caused by the sun and weather. Most experts recommend applying a moisturiser when the skin is still damp. The moisturiser then locks in this moisture in the skin. This is especially true for oil-based creams, which do not contain water themselves. Just like daytime organic and regenerating face cream. It intensely moisturises, helps reduce the signs of ageing, reduces, smoothes, balances skin tone and firms it.

STEP 5: Sunscreen

Sunscreen should be the last step in your morning skincare routine if you are using a sunscreen that blocks UV rays. This step is more complex when using chemical sunscreen. Chemical sunscreens must first be absorbed into the skin to be effective. Applying it after moisturiser will delay this and may even prevent it. However, if you use chemical sunscreen before moisturiser, your moisturiser will also not work, as the skin will be covered in chemical sunscreen. The zinc found in mineral sunscreens is safe, effective, and provides the broadest protection against UVA and UVB rays. For example, you can try facial sun serum SPF25, which will provide you with reliable protection from the sun's rays without leaving an unpleasant feeling on your skin. A light sunscreen will soothe your skin and give it the hydration it needs. For year-round protection, we recommend bio-certified body SPF30 sunscreen.

For minimalists or during extra-demanding days

A minimalist routine is a skincare routine that’s simple and easy to stick to. It’s ideal for people who don’t like spending a lot of time in the bathroom, or for those who are short on time in the morning. It focuses on the key steps and products needed to maintain healthy, beautiful skin.

  1. Cleanser

If you have oily, acne-prone skin, look for a gentle cleanser with glycolic or salicylic acid. If, on the other hand, you have sensitive skin, opt for an alcohol-free cleanser. This can irritate, split or burn the skin. That's why it's ideal to reach for organic natural cosmetics.

  1. Moisturiser

A light moisturiser works well for normal and oily skin types. For dry or sensitive skin, a cream with a thicker emollient base is recommended. Creams are generally thicker than lotions and do not contain preservatives, which can help minimise allergic reactions.

  1. Sunscreen

Facial sunscreen with SPF 30 is an essential step in this case. Sun protection at an early age ensures beautiful skin later in life. Sunscreen helps protect the skin not only from sunburn and skin cancer, but also delays premature skin ageing.

Night-time skincare routine: a step-by-step guide

STEP 1: Double cleansing

How to care for your skin before bed? To get rid of daily dirt, build-up and make-up, some experts recommend first removing make-up with a special make-up remover and then washing your face with a gentle cleanser. It's even better to try double cleansing, which involves using a cleansing oil or milk on an oil basis to dissolve make-up and then re-washing your face with a regular cleansing gel or water-based product.

STEP 2: Toner, essences and other boosters

If you use a toner, apply it in the same way as in the morning. Some people also like to layer different types of skincare boosters at night, which can be found either as essences, natural organic cosmetic waters or hydrating serums. Because these are light, almost water-like formulations, apply them after washing your face as a toner. Toner is more for cleansing, and essences and floral waters are more about providing treatments. Among the floral waters that we recommend instead of toner are, for example, hydrolates from Damask rose, chamomile or lavender.

STEP 3: Treatment

If you would like to treat your skin further, you can use one of the face oils and treat the area directly as it needs. Try, for example, rosehip oil, which contains a large amount of vitamin C. The oil effectively smoothes the skin, eliminates fine wrinkles on the skin and its ability to deeply hydrate the skin increases its elasticity. It is also suitable for smoothing stretch marks on the skin.

STEP 3.1: Eye cream

In addition to addressing wrinkles and dark circles, eye creams can also serve as a protective barrier for your delicate eye area against other skincare products. Generally, you should use an eye cream to protect your eye area from harsh ingredients that could potentially cause irritation.

STEP 3.2: Treatments, serums and peels

Just like the rest of our body, the skin regenerates and renews itself most during sleep. Choose your evening treatment based on what your skin needs most that particular night. Not based on what you currently have in your cosmetic bag. Some people prefer just washing their face, applying cream and going to sleep. However, our evening routine needs much more. Once in a while, treat your skin to relaxation just like your body. Facial, serum or peel at least once a week. Don't despair, though, if you haven't taken good enough care of your skin so far. There's always tomorrow when you can give your skin so much more love.

STEP 4: Moisturising or night cream

Some people use the same moisturiser for day and night. Night moisturisers or night creams, however, are generally denser and heavier. They are designed to be absorbed within a few hours. Our tip is natural and organic cosmetics. Night regenerating cream provides deep hydration, targets fine lines and revitalises the skin during sleep. Powered by bioactive substances rich in antioxidants, it helps protect, balance the skin and supports its natural mechanism during the night. For mature skin, we recommend Anti-ageing face cream. It supports the natural balance, helps reduce the appearance of age spots and protects the skin from free radical damage. With these tips, you too will wake up every morning with beautiful and rejuvenated skin!
