Nourishing Honey Hand Balm

This amazing honey balm for hands can also be used as a balm for the whole body, a hair conditioner or for anything that needs urgent moisturising and softening. (TIP for men: the balm can also be used as a beard and moustache care product.)

The beeswax in the ingredients perfectly retains moisture, and honey soothes irritation and heals small wounds.

Making Natural Hand Balm

What you'll need:

¼ cup of coconut oil (such as Alteya)

1/4 cup of almond oil (such as Alteya)

1/4 cup of olive oil

5 tablespoons of beeswax

1 tablespoon of shea butter (such as Alteya)

1.5 tablespoons of honey

10-20 drops of essential oil

Instructions: Mix all ingredients except honey and oil and heat until melted. Let cool for about 10 minutes. Add honey and essential oil as desired and pour into a jar (remember to heat it under running warm water for at least 60 seconds if using a more fragile container :)) Then we just wait until the temperature is suitable for use.

If the texture seems too thin, simply melt the balm again and add more beeswax. For the opposite result and easier spreading, add more oil.
