It has been 49 years since the family company Athena's was founded in the historic town of Pianoro, located not far from Bologna. And here, in the enchanting natural environment at the foothills of the Apennines, it is still headquartered and produces its unique cosmetic products to this day.

The founder of Athena's, Mr. Antonio Venturo, wanted to draw on his extensive experience gained in the American cosmetics industry and produce cosmetic products with an Italian spirit.

Thanks to the zeal and passion of the entire Venturo family, significant investments in research, and qualified staff, Athena's has grown successfully. It introduced its own brand, l’Erboristica, to the market and thus became one of the recognized producers of high-quality natural cosmetics—first in Italy and gradually worldwide.

Thus, the original hand production of soaps for renowned luxury brands transformed into a manufacturer of innovative cosmetic preparations whose popularity among women is spreading like an avalanche.
