Cleansing T-Zone mask with seaweed and black coal Kvitok 20g
The cleansing mask with black coal and seaweed is intended for problematic skin in the T-zone (forehead, nose, chin), where there is more sebum production. Activated charcoal and salicylic acid deeply clean pores and gently remove excess oil.
The skin is hydrated and fresh after application.
Beneficial effects of the face mask:
- thanks to the content of black coal and vegetable salicylic acid, it gently and gently cleans clogged pores,
- prevents loss of hydration and, thanks to the content of seaweed extract, provably hydrates the skin by 59.6%,
- thanks to the content of corn starch and diatomaceous earth, it leaves the skin clean, soft and matte.
Peeling face mask is an additional product in your skin care that nourishes the skin and supplies it with specific active substances that help alleviate specific problems. Before using face masks, it is necessary to remove make-up and clean the skin.
Active substances:
- activated black coal - is a key ingredient for thorough cleansing of the skin, supports the healing of inflammations, relieves acne. Thanks to its excellent adsorption properties, it can bind to itself a large amount of impurities - it is a powerful detoxifier even in a small amount. Activated charcoal is used in this mask, which is obtained by calcining coconut husks, which creates charcoal with very fine pores that allow even more effective adsorption of impurities to the surface.
- white willow bark extract - vegetable salicylic acid, for deeper cleansing of clogged pores. This acid has been identified as part of the endogenous defense mechanisms of the White Willow tree (Salix Alba) and protects it from pathogens. White willow bark is a natural source of this acid, making it a suitable natural alternative to synthetic salicylic acid, which is used in many cosmetic products. It is ideal for reducing inflammation, redness and has an antimicrobial effect. It has a keratolytic effect, deep into the pores and can effectively reduce the so-called black spots. It is also suitable for the care of mature skin, reduces fine wrinkles and pigmentation. Clinical studies show that a 2% concentration (equivalent to the 1% concentration of synthetic salicylic acid used for comparison at this concentration) can accelerate cell renewal by 26% (synthetic KS by 22%), after 4 weeks of regular application improves skin strength by 44% (synthetic KS by 32%). The effectiveness of both acids in inhibiting the growth of S. Aureus and P. Acnes bacteria was also investigated, where the natural form was again more effective.
- seaweed - hydrates and tones the skin, relieves inflammation and leaves the skin smooth and silky soft. Alginate is a polysaccharide of natural origin, which is found in large quantities in brown and red seaweed. In the cosmetics industry, it has found application for its antioxidant properties, thanks to which it helps to prevent skin aging. It also has beneficial effects on wound healing, helps speed up cell regeneration,
- cornstarch - is a fine powder with a great ability to bind water and oil, so it absorbs excess oil and leaves the skin matte and soft,
- diatomaceous earth - is formed by fossilized unicellular microalgae called diatoms. Diatoms live in seas around the world, often in very extreme conditions, against which they are protected by a silica-rich capsule. Silica is an essential component of human cells and tends to decrease with age. Lack of silicon has harmful effects on tissue cells, so its supplementation has a beneficial effect.
The use
In a bowl, mix the mask with lukewarm water in a ratio of approx. 1:3 (1 part mask + 3 parts water) to a thicker paste and apply it to the skin in a thicker, even layer on the T-zone area (forehead, nose, chin). You can adjust the amount of the mask to your needs, you can also use it on the whole face (1 teaspoon of powder is usually enough to cover the T-zone, (1 teaspoon of powder is usually enough to cover the whole face). Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. When it stops stick to your finger, loosen the edges of the mask and gently peel it off. Do not rinse. Clean the residue with a damp cotton pad/konjac sponge, apply toner, serum and moisturizer. Use 1-2 times a week.
The consistency of the mask should be thicker, you can let it stand for 1 minute after mixing before application. The thicker layer should be especially on the edges, so when applying, make sure that you apply it in a sufficient layer in these places too, otherwise the edges will dry out.
For one application on the face area, you need approx. 4-5 g of powder - the whole package is enough for 4-5 applications.
