Rhassoul (or also ghassoul, lava earth or Moroccan clay powder) is a special remedy, used for centuries, for gentle and effective care of the face, body and hair. Moroccan women know the secret of this clay, which was deposited in the sea in what is now the Atlas Mountains. Thanks to its high content of natural minerals, it has a beneficial effect on both skin and hair.
Rhassoul is extremely effective as a skin conditioner, regulates the activity of the sebaceous glands, perfectly removes impurities, detoxifies, stimulates blood circulation and significantly tightens enlarged pores. It cleanses the skin without damaging the natural protective film. After use, the skin is smooth, soft and radiant. It supports the skin's self-defence mechanisms, which are visibly improved with regular use. It also gently cares for problematic skin, with eczema and psoriasis. When caring for hair and scalp, it naturally regulates the secretion of sebaceous glands, eliminates dry skin and helps prevent the formation of dandruff. Leaves hair airy and soft.
TIP:
For skin problems, regularly apply a thick slurry in a thicker layer to the affected area, cover so that the clay does not dry out, and leave on. You can also add to baths for whole body care.
USES:
- Skin cleansing: mix rhassoul with lukewarm water in a ratio of 1:2, apply to the skin and wash off with gentle circular movements. The clay acts as a scrub.
- Face and body mask: mix rhassoul 1:1 with lukewarm water, you can add a few drops of argan oil (available HERE). Apply in a thick layer on the face or body and leave on. Due to its very strong detoxifying abilities, we recommend trying a shorter time initially (up to five minutes), then you can extend the interval.
- Hair: Mix rhassoul 1:1 with lukewarm water, gently rub into hair and leave on for 10 to 30 minutes. The particles will swell and suck up settled dirt and sebum. Then wash off thoroughly.
