Organic geranium oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of Pelargonioum Graveolens. It has a bright green colour and a fresh scent with a hint of freshly cut grass. Because of its health benefits, it is widely used as part of aromatherapy, especially as a first aid for skin problems, balancing hormonal levels, relieving stress and depression, reducing redness and irritation, and easing the effects of menopause. It also improves blood circulation, oral health and lowers blood pressure. It is also known for its calming effect on children. It is also suitable for dry, sensitive and damaged skin. It helps fight acne and quickly regenerates the skin after burns and frostbite. It is also suitable for minor infections such as herpes.

Use

• distract you when you need to cope with feelings of anxiety or sadness and lift your spirits,
• Add a few drops of geranium essential oil to your favourite moisturiser or dilute it in a carrier oil to plump the skin and promote elasticity,
• mix this oil with a few drops of essential oils of cedarwood, lavender and mandarin and dilute in carrier oil, mix well and gently massage the parts of the body where you feel unpleasant symptoms associated with menstruation.

Blends well with: bergamot, sage, grapefruit, lavender, lime, rosemary and wild orange
