Organic thyme oil is produced by steam distillation of fresh or dried parts of the Thymus Vulgaris plant. It is characterised by its clear to reddish-brown colour and intense thyme aroma. It is described as a very powerful stimulator of the immune system. It is effective for respiratory problems, but also helps to relieve joint and muscle pain. The oil is good for wound healing, tones and cleanses the skin, giving it a youthful and radiant appearance. It is an essential part of cosmetic preparations to strengthen hair and nails. It cures chest infections and stops coughing, helps remove gases from the body, increases urination and removes toxins from the body. Thyme oil also normalizes blood pressure and stress, reduces the number of free radicals associated with aging, protects wounds from infections.

Use

• diffuse when you want to purify the air or when you need to boost your immunity in winter,
• Diffuse when you need to relieve feelings of stress and insecurity,
• dilute in a low concentration in a carrier oil to create a massage blend that relaxes and soothes pain.

Blends well with: geranium, grapefruit, lavender, lemon, pine, tea tree, mint, eucalyptus, bergamot
