Organic Ylang-ylang oil is extracted from the freshly picked flowers of the Canaga Odorata plant by water or steam distillation. Ylang-ylang has an exotic, sweet scent and a light yellow colour. It is known for its powerful calming effects on the mind and body. It is recommended for frigidity and impotence. Because of its unique fragrance, it is a popular ingredient in perfumes and cosmetic preparations. Due to its action on regulating sebum production, it has stimulating effects on hair growth. Through massage, it can have a soothing effect and induce both mental and physical well-being. It is known to reduce inflammation and relieve skin irritations. Ylang-Ylang oil has a positive effect on the endocrine and hormonal systems and helps to achieve a balance of emotions.

Use

• diffuse to enjoy its rich, sweet, floral scent and experience its ability to promote a sense of calm, positivity and balance,
• use ylang-ylang in a massage blend, to increase libido and stimulate sensuality,
• create a hair mask by mixing coconut oil with ylang-ylang essential oil to stimulate hair growth.

Blends well with: bergamot, frankincense, geranium, grapefruit, sandalwood and vetiver
