Turmeric is a root plant commonly used as a spice, and among its many positive effects, it is beneficial for the skin. Turmeric is best known for its yellow-orange colour, which is due to the active ingredient curcumin contained in the root, from which the oil is also extracted. Curcumin is a powerful anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial antioxidant that fights free radicals. Turmeric oil is mainly known from India and is used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine and cosmetic preparations. It is mainly used for dry and lack of vitality skin. The oil is effective for treating skin diseases such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and burns. It is anti-inflammatory and relieves pain, so it is suitable as a massage oil, especially for the knee area, swellings and sprains. Turmeric oil evens skin tone and brightens the face overall.

Use
Apply a few drops to clean skin, massage gently and allow to absorb. Apply to hair ends, that are dry and damaged after washing.
